Pastor Ssempa Asks President Museveni To Set Up Cabinet Ministry On Family Affairs

Makerere Community Church leader, Pastor Martin Ssempa has come out to ask President Museveni to grant a cabinet Ministry on family affairs.

Ssempa said that the family which is the core of society is slowly deteriorating. He wondered why almost every micro sector in Uganda has a Ministry but the marriage institution doesn’t have one.

Ssempa’s comments came after singer Maureen Kabasiita accused military man Captain Kasami of domestic violence and illegal sexual activities. Kabasiita revealed that the military man and she have a daughter together.

In her revelations, the singer shockingly said that the captain used to engage in sexual intercourse with minors. She added that the captain used to perform orgies and ask the women to perform sexual acts on themselves.

Kabasiita then added that captain Kasami also used to sodomize some of the women. S

he was therefore looking to gain custody of her daughter because she doesn’t want her to grow around such a monstrous father.

It was from this that Ssempa, a marriage activist pleaded with the president.

“I really don’t know what’s wrong with couples these days. We are still battling with the likes of Peter Ssematimba, former Archbishop’s scandals, Pastor Bugingo who got introduced while he’s still legally married. I really don’t know what’s wrong with society.”

“We don’t know if what this singer is saying is true but it might be. How does a man derive sexual pleasure from sodomy and asking the women to perform lesbianism? Has pornography really gotten into their heads? Please President Museveni, give us a cabinet ministry specifically for marriage and family. This is the core of the nation but immorality is eroding it slowly,” pastor Martin Ssempa said.
