Patrick Kanyomozi Elected As President Of Ugandans On Twitter

Media personality and president of Uganda Sports Press Association, Patrick Kanyomozi, has yet again worked himself another crazy position. Patrick has been voted as the new president of Ugandans On Twitter.

This may not really be surprising because of his fame on Twitter due to his candid talk on issues. Kanyomozi is a known critic of the ruling party and he openly supports NUP’s Bobi Wine.

As soon as he was announced winner, some Ugandans started anticipating that Twitter is on its way to being shut down. This place had three other contestants but obviously, Patrick was too much for them.

He won with 69%, the second and third place had 11% while the fourth had 9%. Earlier on, Samson Kasumba was a part of this contest.

However, he declined the offer because it was done against his will. Definitely, many people on Twitter questioned why he did so. These two, Patrick Kanyomozi and Samson Kasumba are twitter rivals.

This is because of their different opinions on a lot of things to do with the governance of the country. Otherwise, they have always trolled each other on Twitter.

Asan Kasingye, AIGP has been the UOT president since July 2019. This position gets a new president every after two years. Now that Asan’s reign has come to an end, we are hoping to see a handover from him to Kanyomozi.

Kanyomozi won this vote due to his flamboyance in speech. He speaks a language that most people on Twitter understand and concur with. Let’s see how it goes for him.
