While speaking ahead of the NRM Liberation day which is today, Nabbanja talked about the beauty of Uganda. Well this is a known fact about Uganda but the Prime Minister took it a bit far.
Nabbanja said that Uganda is such a beautiful country unlike others such as neighbors Kenya. According to Nabbanja’s knowledge, Kenya is not a good country to live in terms of weather because it has winter.
“We have a very good country compared to other countries, just go to Kenya here and see. They have winter, and we don’t,” Nabbanja said.
This saw social media users start questioning Nabbanja’s intelligence. The banter also started flying in saying that President Museveni should save Nabbanja and Ugandans the embarrassment she keeps on causing.
“My prayer in all this is for Kenyans not to find this, for them not to find out her position in Uganda kuba ekitufu kili nti nabannja ye musilu alimu namagoba,” one user said.
“So Semuju was right, this one cannot even be a CEO of a garbage collection company,” another Twitter user said.
“Kenyans wondering if she’s really the prime minister?” Another twitter user went.
A fact about if Kenya has a winter is that the country is too close to the Equator to have a real winter.
They also asked Nabbanja why she’s everywhere all the time. The PM replied that she’s like airforce one and therefore always everywhere.
Another statement that caught the social media users was her saying that the NRM improved the life expectancy of Ugandans.
“Life expectancy is currently at 64 years of age. This has been brought by God and the NRM government.”
Many have faulted the one who appointed her to such a high ranking position. This is because they find her too raw, uncivilized and unprepared for such a big office.
It should be recalled that Nabbanja a few days ago almost fell off a chair during an interview.
The journalist who circulated this clip as she even ran short of words in her explanation about the fuel crisis was fired.
