Eilish particularly criticized the way pornography depicts women’s bodies and sexual experiences. According to her pornography appeared like a cool thing to watch at her age.
“I didn’t understand why that was a bad thing – I thought it was how you learned how to have sex. I was an advocate and I thought I was one of the guys and would talk about it and think I was really cool for not having a problem with it and not seeing why it was bad.”
Billie Eilish during the interview opened up that her sex life was driven by what pornography portrayed. She says she said yes to things that she should have said no to because in the clips it seemed okay for her.
“It was because I thought that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to,” she said.
Currently, though she thinks pornography is just a disgrace and exposes people to violence. Billie has been so known not only because of her voice but because of her dress code.
She wears baggy clothes and weird colorful hair. She said all this was to cover up her insecurities and the history of her life that almost destroyed her.
Many young people are suffering from the same because of the way it’s easy to access such content. Much as most countries have laws against pornography, they are almost not working.
However, if it continues like this, young people are at risk of depression and so many other things. Who is protecting children from such content?
