Speaking to his fans and constituents of Kyadondo East at Kasagati grounds on Tuesday evening, the sworn in MP vowed to make his wife, Barbie the first lady of Uganda.

“I want to thank everyone who supported my struggle and above all, I want to thank my beautiful wife for believing in me. Barbie, I want to promise you, before I die, I will make you the first lady of this country,” he said amidst cheers from the crowd.

On the other note, word from the inner circle of Bobi Wine indicates that he has always had intentions of running for the office of the president come 2021. However, he has denied that several times saying, ‘Let’s cross the bridge when we are there’.

Should we say his recent remarks mean he is actually eyeing the presidency? Or it was out of excitement?
