Promoter Abitex Reveals He Is The Only Promoter In Uganda

Events promoter Abbey Musinguzi also known as Promoter Abitex has revealed that he is the only promoter in Uganda. He said other promoters are not real promoters, they copy and learn everything from him.

Abitex has been a promoter for almost two decades now. He has even tried to manage some artists but failed after some misunderstanding.

According to the promoter, he has been trying to mentor the young promoters to get them to the level where he is at. He tried collaborating with Bajjo to make one brand but it didn’t work out.

Abitex said being a promoter is not an easy thing because there are so many times when he has tried to quit. With the time he has been a promoter, he revealed that he is not only the president of promoters but the only promoter.

He said that other people who call themselves promoters are not real promoters but just brokers in the industry.

“I am the only promoter in Uganda. I know I am the president but other people who call themselves are not real promoters. I see them as brokers who connect artists with people like me to help them achieve their dreams,” Abtex said

The promoter also added that he had taken a break from the media. This is because of the continuous abuse from Bobi Wine’s supporters on social media. He said he needed to be away from them to focus on his mental health.
