Queen To Celebrate Her 95th Birthday In A Very Modest Way

Queen of England is celebrating her 95th Birthday today but in a very modest way. This is so because of the death of her husband, Prince Phillip. Her birthday has come at a point where the state is still mourning for the Prince for two weeks. This is the first time in a long time for the Queens’ birthday to be so subtle. Her birthday is one of the most celebrated days in England.

However, this time around, no photo will be put up as it is usually done. Last year a photo of when she was still young was put up to celebrate her 94th Birthday. This year, the monarch had planned for a mega celebration. This is because Prince Phillip was going to celebrate 100 years of age. Unfortunately, he died on the 9th of April 2021 before this could come to a realization.

How will the monarch celebrate the Queen?

Apparently, the Queen will only be with her close family members and 20 of her staff just to make her 95th birthday special. No public celebrations are expected as the monarch still hold a two week period of mourning. The public always brought flowers to Windsor at the Queen’s residence. Right now that is impossible not just because of the mourning but due to the pandemic as well.

That aside, this same month, Prince Louis, the youngest child to Prince William and Princess Catherine will be celebrating three years. More to that the couple, Prince William and Princess Catherine will be making 10 years since they got married. Clearly, this is always a busy month in the monarch because there is just a lot of celebrations going on. Unfortunately, it’s the same month the Queen lost her husband.
