Ragga Dee Scoffs At Ugandan Musicians Who Invest Much Money In Music Videos

Ugandan legendary singer Ragga Dee real name Kazibwe Daniel has scoffed at fellow Ugandan musicians who invest so much money in Music videos. He said that he doesn’t understand someone who invests UGX20 million in one music video, especially in a country like Uganda.

Most of the Ugandan music is locally consumed and fans don’t mind the quality of the video. A few artists aim at the international market of which the quality of the song and the video itself is very important.

Artistes like Bebe Cool have bragged about shooting expensive videos and even traveling abroad to shoot videos just.

According to Ragga Dee, when it comes to music business, he doesn’t understand the thinking of Ugandan musicians who invest much money in videos.

He said most of the music doesn’t cross the border. Even if it does, the Ugandan artists don’t make that much on the international market as it is competitive.

The legendary singer claimed that he has got everything he has from music. This isyet he has never invested so much in music videos and his music has crossed the border at the same time.

“How do you create a music video for 20 million? What will be the profit? Some Ugandan musicians make me laugh. I have never invested so much in videos but I have got everything I have through music,” he said.
