Rapper Kanye West Officially Becomes Billionaire

American rapper, singer, songwriter, fashion designer, record producer and entrepreneur Kanye Omari West popularly known as Kanye West, 42, has officially become a billionaire, he joins the likes of fellow musician Jay-z.

The Chicago-born rapper who partnered with Adidas and developed his basketball shoes bearing his name according to Forbes magazine, is worth $1.3 billion. The musician has officially joined the list of persons who are worth at least $1 billion.

Kanye West’s shoes are always sold for over $200 a pair within United States and outside.

The ‘I love it’ Hit maker was connected with Nike several years ago and left in 2013, he decided to lend his name to Adidas which launched his shoe in 2015 together with him.

Forbes magazine said for years the rapper has been on their neck requesting to be listed among it’s mega-rich but it always declined because there was no proof.

Kanye becomes the 2^nd American rapper to be listed in Forbes after fellow rapper Shawn Corey Carter known by his stages names Jay-Z, who made it in 2019.
