The discussion in Parliament will be considering the FY2020/21 budget and tax bills and therefore all members of Parliament will be seated 2 meters away from each-other in order to observe social distancing.
However, in a bid to lead by example, the Parliament of Uganda will observe Social Distancing during their seatings by moving into tents as the Speaker of Parliament, Hon Rebecca Kadaga explained in a recent tweet.
This will solve risks of MPs getting affected yet the country needs their duties in the daily running activities. Unlike Uganda, other countries like UK, their Prime Minister was infected with coronavirus because of the limited social distance that was not considered at that time.
