Rema Namakula Vows Never To Quit Music

Celebrated former gagamel band musician Rema Namakula was alerted before getting married to Dr Hamza Ssebunya that she’s only left  with five years to quit music by her hubby’s uncle, Godfrey Kirumira. This was admitted during their vows at that time but Rema has now trashed all allegations.

Godrey claimed that the Sili Muyembe hit maker must fully become a house wife and stop seeking for public attention if she wants to settle in a happy marriage. But apparently, Rema for the first time has disagreed with that decision and  claimed that she’s not ready to quit the music industry.

According to Namakula, she’s still looking onto something in future and her dreams are not yet fulfilled. The singer is also willing to retire but has a baggage of entertaining her fans more.

“What I can say is that I won’t retire until I have achieved all my goals. I still have many dreams and my retirement will only come after achieving them. I don’t want to be here forever,” she said.

On the 14th of February, the singer staged a mega concert at Africana Hotel in Kampala.
