Rickman – Grenade Saga: Police Says They Won’t Arrest Grenade Without Evidence

The Uganda Police force has distanced itself from the fight that happened between two musicians Rickman Manrick and Grenade Official. The fight happened last weekend and it left Rickman hospitalized with a torn upper lip.

The cause of the fight wasn’t clear at all as Grenade is saying it’s because of Sheilah Gashumba, a girlfriend to Rickman Manrick and his ex.

He said there is some jealousy involved as Rickman doesn’t feel good that he once dated his girlfriend.

On the other side, Sheilah Gashumba is also blaming drugs saying Grenade is an addict. She, therefore, thinks the drugs are getting to his head and making him do weird things.

Since this fight involved some people being hurt, it is expected to have been taken to the police.

According to police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, the case was reported but there isn’t any evidence yet. He said Rickman Manrick hasn’t given his statement as his manager said he is hospitalized and not feeling well.

They also said they haven’t had an opportunity to look for Grenade to arrest him. This is because at the moment, there is no reason for his arrest.

“A case against Grenade was reported to Police days ago by Rickman’s manager. Unfortunately, we haven’t got evidence to arrest Grenade and Rickman himself hasn’t given a statement on what happened. Unless we have enough evidence, we will not be able to do anything about the fight that took place between the two musicians,” Luke Owoyesigyire said
