The former Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe revealed that his neighboring Country S.A could have done more to save him last year from what he refers to as a coup.

Mugabe’s government was taken over by the military last year thus surprising and shocking the world and Zimbabwe’s nation.
Robert who stepped down without hesitation and fighting, he has come out claiming that South Africa betrayed him during that political transformation.
Mugabe said: “Yes, I felt betrayed by S.A however, of all Zimbabwe’s neighbours, it was the only neighbour that had the guts to intervene.”
He also said that even though South Africa had the capacity to intervene, It did not have to send an army, but rather engage in more.
Its South Africa that gave a false impression to other countries that all was okay in Zimbabwe at that time thus giving out the impression that there was no need for intervention by other countries”, Mugabe added.
