Santana Karma To Release New Album On Independence Day

Gitta Allan Keith, known by his stage name Santana Karma is releasing his new album entitled ‘Did It for Africa’ on Independence Day. Santana is an artiste signed to 100 Acres Entertainment LTD and has done music since 2012. He has so far released 3 studio albums that are ‘FOREPLAY’, ‘Under the Influence of Life’ and ‘Karma World’. He gained fame after dropping hit songs like ‘Kadaaga’ among others. Some of his latest releases include ‘Mpya tuku’ and ‘omulembe gwa Ssebaana’

Santana was born in Kampala in April 1986 to Edward Kasirye and Harriet Nankabirwa. He went to Namilyango Junior Boys’ School, Uganda Martyrs Namugongo for his secondary education before proceeding to Makerere University. Karma Santana is a graduate with a degree in law. He started his music career in 2011, a year after his graduation with his maiden album being Nembyerabira.

Collaborations

Overtime, he has made collaboration with different artistes and has also helped upcoming artistes develop their talents. Some of his songs are about lifestyle but also some focus on informing people about the changing society.

The new album consists of 25 songs with mixed sound based on true African beats intending to push the industry to the next level. A number of big names in the African music industry are featured on the album. Some of the features include Harmonize, Navio, Voltage Music, A Pass, Radio and Weasel and many more.

In a recent interview, Santana said he did it all by himself in terms of uplifting his music career. He had no help from anyone as an upcoming artiste which makes him a fan’s favorite.
