Singer Serena Bata and her former manager Promoter Abitex are not about to let each other go. They are both locked in a continuing clash about the artiste – manager situation.

She and her former manager have been working together for a few years. He started managing her when she was going through hard times with her ex-husband and sponsor Sipapa.

With her talent, Abitex saw an opportunity for a business and signed her. He immediately started investing in her as the two released new music. However, by the time the contract was expiring, Abitex and Serena Bata were having issues that couldn’t let them move on.

Abitex who has invested so much money in the singer seems like he couldn’t believe the losses he had made.

Then he decided to hire lawyers to stop Serena Bata from performing the songs they released together. He said if she wants to have full rights to the songs, she should pay for them.

According to Serena, she is not paying for anything and she will keep performing all her songs.

Her Lawyers told her she has full rights to do whatever she wants. The singer also accused Abitex of leaving her in a lot of debts with different stake holders in the music industry.

The singer said some of the songs they have are not paid for. On top of that, her rent, clothing and transport like it was signed in the contract haven’t been provided to get in a long time.

“He left me with a lot of debts. We had signed in a contract that I will be provided with certain things but they were not provided,” she said.
