Serena Bata Asks Abitex To Consider Professional Approach To Their Matters

In a turn of events, Abitex Promotions yesterday sacked Serena Bata over breach of contract on public misconduct and bad behavior allegations.

Abitex shared the post on their official Facebook page citing Serena Bata’s breach of contract. This included her performing at an unbooked concert on top of smoking shisha in public.

As for Serena Bata, she did not take the news quite well especially the way in which they terminated her contract.

She immediately replied her boss Abbey Musinguzi begging him to consider handling the matter in a more professional manner. She said it is very unethical to use social media to terminate someone.

In her Facebook post, Serena Bata confessed her high respect for Abitex and the entire management team. However, she said that they handled the matters like amateurs.

“Abitex promotions, I respect you in person and the whole management team in particular. But I kindly request you to handle this professionally as we did from the start, not on social media, thank you,” she wrote.

It is unclear on whether Abitex will reconsider her but she is expected to perform at some shows where she had already been booked before the sacking.
