She Wasn’t Singing About Me – Cindy Sanyu Distances Herself From Sheebah’s Beefs

Prolific singer Cindy Sanyu is not ready to continue with petty wrangles with her fellow singer Sheebah Karungi. She said the song that Sheebah sang is not about her (Cindy). She said unless she mentions her name, it will not be about her.

CThese two singers were friends at the beginning of their careers. Sheebah admitted that her first ever song was written by Cindy although it didn’t become a hit.

Instead of continuing to work together until they make it, they became enemies. They carried the beef for so long and even turned it into a battle to see who is better than the other.

The battle between Sheebah and Cindy happened last year and still, there wasn’t a declared winner. However, they made good money from it owing to the fact that many people were excited for them.

Recently Sheebah has been releasing controversial songs directed to fellow artists. Her competitor Spice Diana fell victim to one of the songs. She was so angry that she also recorded a song responding to her.

According to Cindy, whatever song Sheebah releases, it is not about her. She said she will only know it is about her when her name is mentioned.

“You people should stop saying that they are singing about me when my names are not mentioned. I don’t want beefs I will only respond where I hear my name being mentioned,” she said.
