She says is doing the best she can to bring up her artists in the best way she can.
Sheebah unveiled her label last year saying that she wants to give an opportunity to young talented musicians. She asked the young willing artistes to send in their short videos so that they could be reviewed.
She and the team chose those they liked and called them for signings. Ever since then, she has never talked about the young people she signed and neither have they ever talked about anything they are doing in the music label.
Usually when artistes are signed, they go to studios, make some music, and start media tours for exposure.
For Sheebah’s artistes, she said that the first enrolled them in a mentorship program and they are being groomed to be the best. She said that they might have their first performance during her concert in October.
“My music label is not a scam. The artists I signed are still going through mentorship. They are in studios and we hope they will have their first performance at my concert. We don’t want to bring the artists in the industry when they are not ready,” she said.
