Social Media Users React To A Post Linking PM Robinah Nabbanja To Ancient Leader Who Was Eaten By Angry Protesters

Social media users have taken to different platforms to react to a post that was likening PM Robinah Nabbanja to an ancient Dutch PM who was eaten by an angry mob.

The post said that in 1672, a mob of angry Dutch killed and ate their prime minister. Crazy how it sounds, it’s true and this PM was called Johan de Witt.

In that year the Dutch republic was at war with England and France. The people felt that the prime minister had massively failed them.

They decided to depose him in favor of another leader. After eventually killing him alongside his brother, the angry mob ate some of their body parts.

With the ongoing lockdown, most people are all expectant after government through the PM Robinah Nabbanja promised them Ugx 100,000.

This was however promised to the vulnerable groups that government went ahead to identify.

These people however feel the bureaucratic tendencies of government are prolonging the process and they can’t wait any longer.

When they saw this post, most of them reacted to it with a great sense of humor.

“U may think it’s a joke yet in actual sense your threatening someone’s life, also encouraging Uganda’s assassin’s.” A displeased social media said.

“Who can risk eating Nabbanja, Oyo talabikka nakuwooma.” Another said.

“They might have been just hungry because if it’s not hunger, how can you eat someone because you’re angry.” Another said.

It’s however expected that government will avail the promised COVID-19 relief package to the beneficiaries this week.
