The packaging of our words most times is really lacking. There are certain things you just know that if they fall in any ear, people will be offended.
Does this mean we only say what people want to hear? Definitely not. Does this this mean, we keep quiet just because we don’t want to offend people, No. However, package your words in a way that someone will understand and change their behavior.
There is no problem at all telling people what they need to hear. But if it pushes them in a corner then something is not right.
There really some things that you just can’t tell someone in public. Things to do with body odor, academic excellence, body shape, skin and the sort. Unless your intention is to humiliate instead of helping them.
There is no need of telling someone off in public. Put yourself in their shoes, how would you feel? Amazingly you wouldn’t want someone to do the same to you.
What you say sometimes may not matter but how you air out your views says a lot about you as a person. Yeah, to some people you may come off as real. To others you will be disrespectful.
Not that you should impress people, but you should do what is right, what you would want someone to do to you. We should be careful with words, people never forget words, they sink in deep.
