Ms. Diana has been in the industry for a decade now. Her next year’s concert is meant to actually celebrate her 10 years in the industry.
She is among the few musicians who have been very supportive to fellow artistes especially those having concerts. She buys tickets or even a table for other artists concerts and even shows up to perform for free.
According to the singer, that has been the culture for a very long time. However, people who claim to be business people are stepping on the culture claiming it is a strategy of making money.
The talented singer revealed that one of the reasons why concerts shouldn’t collide is respect for someone and their hustle.
As a person who has been in the industry, she knows how hard it is for someone to plan and execute a good concert. For someone to stage another concert on the same date is directly showing the artist that you hate them.
“I don’t know who brought the art of staging a concert on the same date as a way of making money. It is not good, it shows how someone is disrespectful and also shows how you don’t want another artist to be successful. I think artists need to have different dates of concerts,” she said.
