Stop Assuming I’m A Planned Kid – Laika Music Tells Fans

Upcoming singer Laika Music has told fans to stop assuming she is from a well-off family (Planned kid). She said she is struggling and hustling to make it in life through music because she was born into a poor family.

The singer started her music career in 2019 but because she was living in South Africa, her music wasn’t getting recognized here in Uganda.

At the beginning of her career, she was even doing urban type of music specifically English language and some little Luganda. After realizing that the English songs can’t work and pushing music while in South Africa can’t work either, she decided to return home and focus.

Unfortunately, Laika’s looks have dominated her music. Fans have started comparing her to Winnie Nwagi because of her body. Some even assume she is from a well-off family.

The singer revealed that her looks shouldn’t overshadow her career. This is because she is working so hard to get where she wants to be in her career.

According to Laika, she is from Western Uganda and she grew up struggling with her family. She said she wished she was from a rich family. She wouldn’t be struggling with the music like she is doing right now.

“Many People think I am a planned kid but I really am not. If I was a planned kid, I wouldn’t be here struggling to survive on my own, through music and other hustles.” the singer said.
