Kasuku has warned the public to stop belittling Weasel in any way. He says people have simply taken advantage of the fact that Radio passed on, and think Weasel doesn’t deserve any kind of respect.
Recently, fans have not been easy on Weasel apparently because it was Radio who made him who he currently is.
Weasel and Radio were the finest duo Africa has ever had. Since the death of Radio though, music has not been the same for Weasel.
Weasel yesterday complained on his social media platforms saying artists from other countries should desist from performing their songs without permission.
Chike on the 15th February as he was opening his show, started performing a Radio and Weasel song. This didn’t impress Weasel who saw it as demeaning because no one asked him for permission.
However, fans instead of standing by him drugged him in the mud. They said he has no right to complain because he was not even contributing much to the duo he was in.
Kasuku on the other hand didn’t agree with the fans. He said, if Weasel was of no value, then Radio wouldn’t have been with him for that long. He, therefore, said he is taking it upon himself to insult anyone who is going to belittle Weasel in any way.
Kasuku also commented about the ongoing criticism of Rema. Fans have been condemning her for not performing with Chike yet they have a song together.
However, Kasuku defended her saying she was not paid to do so otherwise she would have showed up to sing. He said Rema is a star and they shouldn’t expect her in any way to sing for free.
