He is angry at artists with good music who don’t get their songs to get airplay. However, those that have music that he calls poor quality, go viral and even cross the border for absolutely no reason.
According to Kabako, some artists need to understand that Ugandan music changes all the time. Young artists come up with new vibes because they know what fellow youths like.
Recently a young musician from the ghetto did a free-style song known as Hoozambe and it went viral. He is currently on a media tour in Kenya making good money.
Kabako said if the music wasn’t good, no one was going to dance to the song but because it was good, he has bookings.
“We’ll let A Pass say what he wants about artists’ songs, but we know what good music is. Hoozambe is in Kenya making money and if his music wasn’t good, no one would to book him,” Kabako said
It should be noted that A Pass had pledged to gate-keep Ugandan music as he stops poor quality from going viral.
