Before Junior lost his father Tamale Mirundi, he was always having little fights and arguments with him. Some of them were made public but he still apologized and got along with his father like nothing happened.
In fact, his father used to defend him and support him even when he was in the wrong. They were so close to each other.
After his death, the family attempted to rectify his wrongs by apologizing to the people he abused and didn’t get along with while still alive.
Tamale Mirundi Jr is among the few kids who didn’t go with the relatives to apologize. He claimed that his father never told him to do that because his wrongs were not family wrongs.
According to him, refusing to apologize on behalf of his father doesn’t mean that he doesn’t understand the value of family.
He said that family are the only people who can be there for you even if everyone else disappears. But not every family member likes you or has good intentions towards you.
“Family is priceless, no amount of money can buy it. However, that doesn’t blind us from seeing family members that are bad-hearted. We know their intentions are never good but we don’t talk about them,” he said.
