Her supporters carried her to the polling station. She later lost to her opponent.
Evelyn Anite was so instrumental in the ammendment of Article 102 (b) her political career is getting done while M7's will go on.

Hon. Evelyn Anite became so famous during the time of ‘ Togikwatako‘ since she was so vocal and totally behind the movement. She is mostly remembered by her statement ‘ we have the Majje’ she became really infamous and a public ridicule due to the atmosphere at that time. Anite before, the party elections was so sure about her victory calming that Koboko is on her side.

Hon. Evelyn is not the only one
Evelyn is not the only big dog that has been slayed off her site. The Minister of Ethics, Simon Lokodo was also defeated in Dodoth by Baatom Ben Koryang. Time will tell however but one thing that will not be forgotten is how violent these primaries were.
I once wrote here that Evelyn Anite will slowly realise that she's not part of the people that have the 'magye', all she has is "magyi" for breakfast.

These have been one of the most if not the most violent elections in years especially because they were primaries. People lost lives during campaigns. Members of parliament fought and some came off with injuries. Evelyn also commented on this.
“They beat and threatened my supporters. And that is why I lost.” The minister said.
Twitter scribes didn’t believe her, they had a field day making fun of her.
Check out a few tweets from the spheres;
Dr. Charles Ayume unseated Hon Evelyn Anite in koboko despite having Support of the Majje, and distribution of 1kg of sugar in search for votes.
I think she can use the support of the support of the Majje to protect Ugandan borders not politics 😂 pic.twitter.com/sThVX62hV1

One thing is for sure though, the celebration on social media over her defeat speaks a lot of volumes about what the nation has at heart.
