“I got nominated in three categories of the Africa Arts Entertainment Awards which are going to take place in Kenya. The National Cultural Forum came out and appreciated me. I think other Ugandans should also come out and do the same. This is because this is not just for me but for the country at large. These nominations mean that I’m progressing forward and I’m also hardworking. So far I’m the only Ugandan nominated because Mikono Juu song is the only one that has crossed borders from Uganda,” he said.
