The battle seems to be between two candidates, the incumbent Cindy and King Saha although music producer/singer Daddy Andre is also part of the race.
After the nomination, Cindy revealed that she wants to conclude what she started in her previous interim stint.
“I’m ready to end what I started as the former UMA president because I have passion for the Association. I will be glad if Saha wins and he leads us diligently. If he’s incapable, however, then we shall all let the one who is capable lead us,” Cindy said.
The Boom Party singer came in the company of barely known artists. Saha was the real deal at the nominations as he came with the company of some of the most known artistes in the industry.
The likes of Spice Diana, Feffe Bussi, Kabako among others escorted the Biri Biri singer.
Saha says that he has come to work for the entire industry and unite all of them.
“I want to unite the entire industry and I will work for everyone,” Saha said.
Saha’s contingent took to criticizing Bebe Cool who they said has no moral authority to downplay Saha’s leadership abilities.
These added that Bebe Cool’s neither a councilor nor a local chairman to know what a leader should look like.
While addressing Bebe Cool’s claims that Saha is a drug addict, they said they have decided to send a fellow drug addict to tackle their problems because he understands them better.
