Vote And Guard Your Vote – Kyagulanyi, POA and Muntu Tell Ugandans

Three opposition party leaders, Robert Kyagulanyi, Patrick Oboi Amuriat and Gen. Mugisha Muntu have today told Ugandans to vote massively. They also encouraged Ugandans to stay and guard their votes.

They said this in a press conference held at Hotel Africana this morning. Robert Kyagulanyi of the National Unity Platform party told his supporters that regardless of the communication from the EC for voters to vote and vacate the area, they should keep around the polling stations.

“Do not pay attention to Mr Byabakama’s illegal pronouncements. You’ll not be breaking any law by staying at the polling station,” Bobi Wine Said.

He even added that if any voter witnesses any kind of violence around the voting areas, they should take photos and videos and upload them on the UVote app that he just launched.

The Electoral communication however has communicated earlier on that no voter should come near the polling stations with anything like a camera or else they will be arrested.

Dr. Kizza Besigye was also in full attendance of this conference. He said in all the years he has been in politics, the violence this time was above the mark. He however encouraged people to vote for any opposition leader of their choice come Thursday, 14th January 2021.

It should be noted that elections are just a day away and today is actually the last day of campaigns for all candidates.
