Vybz Kartel Speaks About Running For MP In The Next Election

Jamaican musician Vybz Kartel has spoken about running as a member of parliament in the next election. He said that he has so much that other people will never see and he would want to get in a position where he can have an impact on people that have been there for him for years.

Kartel was in prison for 13 years over murder. He was recently acquitted and released from prison with his co-accused.

The singer looked different physically because of an illness known as graves disease. His face and neck are all swollen.

Despite the looks and the health struggles, Vybz Kartel got out of prison with much energy. He went out to party on that same night and he has been doing interviews nonstop.

The singer even talked about concerts saying that his first concert will be in December but didn’t reveal the date. He asked his fans to have the money ready once he announces the date and venue.

The most surprising statement made by Vybz Kartel was having plans to join politics. He said he is still thinking about it and his fans shouldn’t be surprised once it happens.

“I know it is out of the blue but I am thinking about running for member of parliament in the next elections. I have seen a lot I now want to be in a position where I can change the lives of my people,”
