Vyper Ranking Sets Concert On Same Day As Dr Jose Chameleone

Dancehall singer Vyper Ranking has exhibited no fear after he set his concert on the same day as Uganda’s legendary musician Dr Jose Chamelone. The singer held a press conference yesterday in Kireka and announced his concert plans.

Ranking’s concert will take place on the 31^st of August in Kireka. He said that he chose the area because it’s where he grew up and started his music journey.

The Tebimala singer further said that he will have a couple of singers performing at his show because his music can’t sustain him a lot. He has a few songs that last just an hour and a few minutes. Therefore, inviting other artistes, especially the young ones will be to supplement him.

He was questioned whether he knew that Chameleone too has a show on the same day. Vyper Ranking said that he didn’t know that the date was already designated for someone else. It should be noted that Chameleone too announced his concert this week on the same day.

It will take place at Kampala Serena Hotel and has been dubbed Legend in Gold. He will be celebrating his silver jubilee in the music industry.

“I decided to put my concert in Kireka because it’s where I grew up and my music journey started. For Chameleone having a concert on the same day as me, I didn’t know. However, our venues attract different classes of people.”
