We Are Not Going To Cover Up For UNMF, We Need Results – Beenie Gunter

Singer Beenie Gunter has revealed that artistes are not going to cover up for the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF). He said they are all waiting for the results and hopefully they will not have funny stories to tell when it comes to it.

The Federation was formed by Edirisa Musuuza also known as Eddy Kenzo. He did so even when there was an active association taking on the matters.

Fortunately he got artists that believed in his ideas and joined his federation. It has been doing well and last week Kenzo revealed that they had got money from the government that is meant to help artists.

According to Beenie Gunter, artistes leaders always bring up stories when it comes to money. He, therefore, hopes this time around it is different.

He said Eddy Kenzo and his federation should do what they promised to do, otherwise no one is going to cover up for them.

Beenie Gunter said he wants the money that was released to artists to actually work for the artists.

“We are not going to cover up for UNMF, we need results. Kenzo knows the truth of what he told us and what we should expect. I hope we will not get less than that,”

It should be noted that lots of musicians are currently looking at that money. Under normal circumstances, this money is supposed to be borrowed by artists who would then later return it back to the federation. It’s not a cash handout like some of them might be thinking.
