We Are Only Expecting The President Today, Bobi Wine Is Not Welcome – Kayunga RDC

The RDC of Kayunga, Kigozi Sempala has said they are only expecting Museveni today. He says Bobi Wine is not welcome because they don’t know about his coming.

Apparently, they have only organized for the president who informed them about his coming a week ago.

“The President (Museveni) is coming to meet the leaders of NRM and notified us over a week ago and we have organized for him. However, the leadership of NUP also say their leader is coming but we sat and agreed with them he can’t come on the same day(as President Museveni),” Kigozi said

Kigozi informed journalists that they gave NUP the opportunity to inform them before time but they failed.

He says Sunday and Monday were available but NUP didn’t take them on and now have opted for a booked day.

“We gave them a chance but they didn’t utilize it. Even today (Monday), we called the district NUP chairman permitting him to hold their meetings without any problem but didn’t utilize it. We were expecting him on December 10 but never turned up but also never communicated why he didn’t come. We’ve nothing to do for them. We have a duty to keep this area secure for tomorrow’s program (Museveni visit). Our focus now is to welcome the president.”

This indirectly means something may go down today. Besides the communication from the RDC, Senyonyi has this morning woken up to inform Kayunga that Bobi Wine is showing up. He used his social media platforms to pass on this information.

“Today, the Ghetto Gladiator himself is coming to Kayunga!” Senyonyi wrote on his Twitter.
