Weasel Not Ready To Let Son Follow His Career Path

Goodlyfe singer Weasel real name Douglas Mayanja is apparently not ready to let his son follow his career path as a musician. He said nothing is interesting in singing but still if the child insists he wants to sing, he will be supportive of him.

Weasel has been in the music industry for more than 15 years. His career slowed down in 2018 after his duo mate Radio lost his life.

Ever since then, so much changed and he hasn’t been that active in the music industry although he has people supporting him.

Looking at where he started from to where he is and the things he has achieved, Weasel seems not to be impressed with the singing.

He said as a loving father to his children, he wouldn’t like to see his son join the music industry. The problems in the industry seem to be very many.

He, however, said that he would support his son if he chose singing. He believes that in the future, the whole industry will be very great.

“I wouldn’t prefer it if my son chose the same career path as I did. However, if he insists on becoming a musician, there’s nothing I can do. Perhaps, the music industry will be better in the future,” he said.

It should be noted that Weasel is a father of six children and from different mothers. He is currently dating Rwandese beauty Sandra Teta.
