The President on the 18th of June instituted tough guidelines for citizens to follow.
The aim of this is reducing the upsurge of covid-19 cases.
Some of these measures include among others banning of movement of cars carrying people unless with authorized permission, curfew of 7pm.
All those caught violating these rules would go to jail as the relevant ministries come up with a fine to levy on the culprits.
Police arrested the Goodlyfe singer according to sources on Saturday around midday. Apparently the singer was high and not aware of the guidelines.
Weasel who could not provide a valid reason on why he was moving at that time got involved in a row with the officers who had stopped him.
However, the cops sent him into the coolers at Salaama Road police station. He only got out after a few interventions in the later hours of the evening.
Many people have decried these measures but they will have follow them no matter what.
These measures came into effect after the second wave of covid 19 became very deadly. Despite claiming hundreds of lives, it has also left thousands sick.
Authorities are calling upon people to continue following and respecting the Ministry of Health SOPs put in place for their safety.
