At the end of the day however, it is us who are making the music industry dilute. Must we take in every kind of sound as music just because it is playing?
Most of the times people don’t embrace the people with the voices because they are always really professional. People celebrate the likes of Gravity Omutujju instead of Maurice Kirya. Somehow or coincidentally, the people who lack the voices are willing to do just about anything to make it.
If you trace all the vulgar songs, you will find that the vocalists are equally as bad. Surprisingly, the fans embrace these people with all their weaknesses.
We can’t avoid it though, the singers with rich voices are most times really proud. You will find that they work with specific people and also relate with a certain class of people. This is not bad but it is not okay if you’re intending to be the darling of the people.
There are those times when you just have to come down to the level of the people you sing to.
This is the time to improve our music industry. It has to start with the quality of musicians we have. Obviously, if the quality of musicians is good, the music will also be great. Its time for the leadership of our music industry to look into supporting those that are worth it.
This will also increase the amount of money they earn because quality will speak for its self.
