She joined Sama Sojah, King Solomon, and Kin Bella who were also unveiled as official artists signed to the label.
They revealed that she is to completely submit to the label saying anyone who wants her would have to deal with the label first.
This meant that Master Records had taken the responsibility for production, promotion, and distribution of her music and brand affairs.
On a disappointing note though, Namubiru is no longer at the Ntinda-based music label after a few projects together.
The two parties are no longer working together and according to sources within Masters Records. They apparently separated due to differences in creative ideas and investment challenges.
A representative from Masters Records, however, noted that although the first attempt at working with Namubiru failed, they are still open to working with her again in future.
“Although the first try wasn’t perfect, we are still open to work with Iryn and make things better in future,” Davin Oyesigye, A&R at Masters Records said.
While together, Masters produced a couple of projects for Iryn Namubiru. She seemed on a positive journey back in the mainstream.
Sama Sojah and Jeff Kiwa
In other news earlier reported by NEWSLEXPOINT.com Jeff Kiwa was to take on the talented vocalist Sama Sojah. This follows the musician’s bitter fall out with Sheebah.
While Jeff Kiwa will act as manager, Sama Sojah will be signed to RedZone Music and will still be answerable to manager Melo.
