Why Your Happiness Is Entirely In Your Hands

I have heard many people on several occasions put their happiness in the hands of other people. Many times you hear people say, my whole world was in your hands! It seems right, but it shouldn’t be so.

You can not entrust anyone with your happiness because surely human beings remain human anyway. Certain days they will wake up when making you happy is not on their agenda.

You must intentionally learn to hold happiness in your hands. Happiness is momentary, so you create the moments that make you happy.

Some people have decided to live their lives for others. It seems okay but you see one day, you will break down trying to make everyone happy. It is your responsibility to be happy, to have joy the same way it’s your responsibility to be happy.

Someone may say, isn’t this going to make everyone selfish? You will be shocked to know that it won’t.

Happy people will not go around creating sadness for others because if they do then it catches up with them too.

People who treasure their happiness will easily walk away from relationships that could break them in the name of sticking around. As you choose to be happy, you are helping others find happiness as well.

So don’t go putting your happiness in the hands of people, it’s in your hands. It’s your responsibility. You decide what you keep around you, if it is creating a toxic atmosphere, you snap out of it.

Stop blaming people for the sad life you let around you, it’s your responsibility. Be intentional and clear about it. Eventually, you attract happy people around you. You attract who you are.
