Temporary Happiness Should Not Blind You From Seeing The Truth

Many times we deliberately choose not to see the truth in its real form for the sake of temporary happiness. Happiness that we know is just heading to a dead end. Do I blame us?, No, we are human, isn’t it? However it’s such things that harden our hearts to the point that when true happiness comes out away, we just choose to shield in the fear that it won’t last long like all the others.

It’s hard I know, to leave something that you love because in all honesty, its heading nowhere. Nevertheless whether you choose to stay or not, at the end of the day it will have to vanish because its only temporary. Most people get into relationships that even their instincts know won’t go anywhere but for the sake of the happy moments at that time, they just choose to lean in.

Before anything however, sit down and ask yourself, is what am in what I really want? Is this going to make me better? Can I stand and fight for it when times call for that? What is at stake when I stay in it? What do I stand to lose or gain? When you answer all those questions without any kind of bias, decide and do it right away.

Don’t let yourself drown in the emotions of the moment to later frustrate yourself. There are somethings we get ourselves into and they are like bombs waiting to blast when the time has ripened. Separate love from infatuation, silver from bronze. The two may look alike but they are completely different.
