Ykee Benda Educates Ugandans About Meaning Of Best Friends

Mpaka Records CEO Ykee Benda real name Tugume Wycliffe has come out to educate Ugandans about the meaning of best friends. He said following someone on social media doesn’t mean you’re friends with them in real life.

According to Ykee Benda, people should stop using social media as a yardstick for relationships and friendships. The singer said people usually follow their fellows on social media because of the interests. It is not always about friendships that lead to that.

“We can be best friends in real life and I don’t even follow you on social media …You could be one of the people I don’t like and yet I follow you… Stop using social media as a yardstick for relationships… We are here to follow people who interest us or who share our interests not our friends ! Grow up guys ❤️,” Ykee Benda said

In the entertainment industry, there is always gossip making rounds about celebrities’ friends and partners.

If they don’t follow each other, it is always seen as a problem and this time around Ykee Benda is not supporting it. He also has said Ugandans need to grow up and know that friendship is not showed on social media.

It should be noted that Ykee Benda himself doesn’t follow his girlfriend on any social media platforms.

He doesn’t even tag her in the posts they both feature in. He, however, says he loves her so much and is even willing to marry her when the right time comes.
