Ykee Benda – My Mother Was Angry At Me For Allegedly Wedding Lydia Jazmine

Musician Wycliffe Tugume aka Ykee Benda has come out to reveal how his mother was angry at him for allegedly wedding fellow singer Lydia Jasmine without her knowledge.

A few days ago, news and pictures circulated on social media sites alleging how the two singers had done a Kukyala.

The two even released some pictures showing them kissing in a tilted camera angle.

The two musicians kept on teasing their fans releasing picture by picture with love emojis.

They however came out to reveal they were just promoting a new song they had did together. Some fans had guessed right.

During the premier of the video of this song titled “Banange“, Ykee Benda said the pictures rubbed many people the wrong way.

These included his own mother who called questioning why he had not called to inform her.

“The viral pictures from ‘Banange’ music video pissed off many people, my mother inclusive. She called while complaining, and I had to explain it all to her. I told her to calm down and asked her how I could do such an occasion and fail to call her”. Ykee Benda said.

They further asked him if his baby mama at home was okay with the pictures.

Ykee Benda replied that he was a single man and that his baby mama had dumped him and gone back to her parents’ home.

Talking about the song, the Mpaka records CEO said that he writes his music out of vibes and wrote the song himself.

He also added that Crazy Beats is the producer behind it and all the songs on his upcoming Kirabo album.
