“You Translate Mariachi’s jokes To English,” Fan Shames Salvador For Siding With Alex Mukulu

A fan has decided to go head to head with Salvador saying he translates Mariachi’s jokes to English.

“You repeat jokes and translate mariachi’s jokes to English walogga kapale”

This came after the comedian praised Alex Mukulu’s ‘honesty’ to the young boys that came to showcase talent. Alex Mukulu is one of the judges on a talent show in Uganda. A video of him blasting these boys has circulated all over media and attracted a lot of mixed emotions. The biggest population on social media condemned his reaction towards the boys saying it will kill their esteem.

The boys who had also come to showcase dancing as their talent received very mean remarks from the judge. His opening words went straight to what he called a bad stench from them.

“Muwuunya, Muwuunya, okuuva lwemwatandise okuziina muwuunya.” the judge said.

However, to the dismay of the fan, comedian Salvador applauded Alex’s approach to the boys.

“We all need an Alex Mukulu in our lives, someone who will blatantly tell us the truth in our faces regardless of how it makes us feel... I have a couple of them.” Salvador tweeted.

Most of the fans decided to blast him calling him insensitive.

“It’s different when someone stands in front of you and tells you the truth. This guy shouted at those boys on camera while fellow panellists were busy laughing. As a father, I thought you could understand the damage he caused to that young talent. It’s going to leave with them,” a fan tweeted.

Salvador has been in so many coronavirus controversial situations. First politically and now socially. Whether it’s about his brand, that’s a question for another day.
