Zex Bilangilangi Distances Himself From Meeting President Museveni In Secret

Zex Bilangilangi, a prolific singer affiliated with Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, has distanced himself from secretly meeting President Museveni. He said the people spreading that rumour just want to taint his name and brand.

Bilangilangi started his music career very young in Firebase but unfortunately, he didn’t break through at that age. His music started getting airplay about five years ago.

He attributed his success to Bobi Wine saying if it weren’t for him, he would be nowhere he is today.

Knowing that he is a strong ally of Bobi Wine and he doesn’t support President Museveni openly, some haters come out to accuse him of secretly meeting Mr. Museeni.

Last week, a group of musicians under Kenzo’s UNMF had a meeting with President Museveni There was rumour that Zex Bilangilangi was among those although he quickly denied the allegations.

The singer asked his fans to disregard the rumor as it is baseless and fake. He said he knows one state house which is NUP’s headquarters.

“I have come across posts depicting that I was at state house in Entebbe. [I don’t know for what purpose] but kindly disregard these allegations as they are fake, baseless and aimed at tainting my hard-built brand. State house manyi emu atte ndudde okugendako ku lwe Gayaza,” he said.

It should be noted that a number of musicians have been meeting President Museveni for various reasons, most of which is money. They have also been pushing a number of agendas to the president.
