The 45 year old Zidane a legendary player and now a legendary coach decided to leave the Spanish team real Madrid as their head coach.

Zinedine alias zizou has been the boss of Real Madrid for two and a half years.
Zidane’s resignation came in just five days after winning his third straight champion’s league triumph with Real Madrid.
Why Zidane Left.
He claims that Real Madrid is in need of a different Voice. On his departure, he said that everything changes hence a factor that lead to his exit.
He said:” What I think is that Madrid needs to continue winning which requires change, a different voice, another methodology.”
After declaring his love for the club, Zizou termed his leaving as the perfect time for him, the squad and the club as well.
Zizou’s Achievements in the two and half years
- Zinedene was able to win 104 games, obtain 29 draws and loss only 16 games out of the 149 games he has been in charge of Real Madrid.
- He put up a record of winning three champions league trophy three times in a row.
- He lifted one La Liga Trophy in the two and half years

Real Madrid’s President Florentino Perez said that the news of zizou leaving the club was really a shock and unexpected because he wanted to keep zinedene as the head coach of real Madrid which zidane also knew.
Who’s to replace Zidane at Real Madrid.
After zizou leaving Real Madrid, the club is now looking for their fourth manager in the five years.
A number of options have been named to replace zidane and these include;
- Mauricio Pochettino the tottenham boss who just signed a five year contract with Tottenham.
- Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri
- Maurizio Sarri who just left Italian team Napoli
- Arsene Wenger who also left Arsenal FC at the end of the season
