Four Islamist gunmen suddenly entered into the Kenyan college this thursday morning in northen Kenya, they started shooting innocent students and taking hostages in the process of early morning prayer services.

The Islamist gunmen killed 147 students!
Government officials said, “About 550 students were shifted and 79 were injured in the attack at the Garissa University campus which is located 90 miles from the border of Somalia.”The al-Shabab terrorists claimed responsibility for the killing.
Usually there are four guards at the main campus gates at night time, Kweyu Jackstone, dean of students, told Citizen TV of Kenya.
The gunmen went into a college building in which 360 students stay, one of the students managed to escape. Nkaissery said.
The Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta said “This is a moment for everyone throughout the country to be vigilant as we continue to confront and defeat our enemies.”
The students said the gunmen held the hostages in a dormitory and begun sorting out Muslims from Christians. Bombs were planted around the Christian hostages. “ Kenyan National police service said.” This simply means that Christians and converts to Islam seems to have been the targets.
There was heavy gun fire at the college campus but fortunately the Kenyan millitary managed to kill the attackers and rescued the remaining students, “Police Inspector General Joseph Boinett said.
Kenyan police are offering $220,000 as a reward for the hit man Mohammed Mohamud, also known as Dulyadin and Gamadhere, they suspect he planned the attack.
The White House condemned the attack to the innocent students, they said the United States government was providing assistance to the government of Kenya. The White House spokesman Josh Earnest said in a statement.” We extend our deep condolences to the families and loved ones of all those killed in this terrible attack, which reportedly included the targeting of Christian students,”

Its really too bad for the Kenyans, but still Kenyan security is not good, i remember the Alshabab warned the kenyans about the attack but they didnot mind, may be they thought that these islamists where joking, its time for Kenya to tighten its security.
