During the investigation process, officials came to know that the two women are of Zambian origin. The apparently reached Mumbai via Doha.
Both the accused were arraigned in court on Monday after authorities registered a case against them. Later, the court sent them to judicial custody for 14 days, the officials informed.

Also, they impose heavy fines on the suspect depending on the amount of contraband seized. Further investigations into the matter are underway.
