The latest news coming to our desk indicates that two Kenyan nationals have been attacked and seriously wounded in the ongoing xenophobic attacks in South Africa, Ambassador Juma Monica confirmed.

South Africa has witnessed the occasional violence for more than a week now with at least 5 people killed by riotous youth targeting fellow Africans, ‘according to reports
According to Kamau Jean, Kenya’s High Commissioner to South Africa, the brutality is also targeting Kenyan people in the republic of South Africa.
Ambassador Juma tweeted and said the two affected Kenyans also had their businesses seriously destroyed by lawless youths despite warning by the government of South Africa.

Kenyan High Commission in South Africa is seriously in contact with the South African government to make sure Kenyans and their property are well protected,’she added.

Many people around the world are condemning South African people for the acts of brutality towards fellow Africans like Nigerians which Nelson Mandela during his life time said they contributed so much to the reduction of apartheid in South Africa.
