36 New COVID -19 Cases Confirmed In Uganda

With no reasonable doubt, covid-19 seems will never end following the continuous cases erupting in the country. Yesterday on 28th May, thirty six new samples tested positive for coronavirus and this brought a total of confirmed cases to 317.

However, 24 new cases were truck drivers of which 20 arrived via Elegu, two arrived via Malaba and one was from Lia Point of Entry in Arua. 12 of the new cases are contacts to previously confirmed truck drivers.

The contacts were under quarantine at the time of test. 26 positive foreign truck drivers were handed over to their country of origin.

Currently the total Recoveries are 69.
