Desire Luzinda was on the Mwasuze Mutya show where she narrated her life story to Faridah Nakazibwe the show Host.

Desire revealed that she got pregnant while still in senior six at Makerere College School.

The kitone singer’s parents and relatives were disappointed in her for she was still in school.

Luzinda said: “They thought I was too young to handle both my pregnancy and my studies at that time.”

“At the fourth month of my pregnancy, one of my aunties wanted me to abort my daughter but since I was God fearing I knew aborting was a sin hence remaining with my pregnancy,” she further said.

Fortunate for her, she was able to get teachers to teach her from home which enable her to finish her studies with her pregnancy.

She said that she gave baby in senior 6 vacation and currently her daughter Mitchelle who lives in the US is 15 years old.
