Absa Rewards Customers With Cash Prizes Worth Shs200m For Card Usage

Absa has launched a new campaign, “shs 200 million can change your story,” offering cash prizes to customers who make at least five transactions per month using their Absa Debit or Credit Cards.

This initiative aims to not only promote digital payment adoption but also reward customer loyalty.

Musa Jallow, Retail and Business Banking Director at Absa Bank Uganda, emphasizes the bank’s commitment to providing convenient and digitalized banking solutions that prioritize customer experience.

The Absa Debit or Credit card allows customers to make payments for various expenses both in-store and online, with advanced security features to safeguard transactions.

All Absa cardholders are eligible to participate in the campaign by simply using their cards for a minimum of five transactions per month.

Five customers will be selected monthly from September to December 2024 to receive cash prizes totaling shs200 million. This initiative not only incentivizes card usage but also fosters a stronger connection between Absa and its customers.

Jallow highlights Absa’s focus on offering affordable, secure, and reliable payment solutions to meet the needs of today’s fast-paced customers. The bank continues to innovate and enhance its digital capabilities while providing a range of card solutions with added rewards and benefits.

Recent data from the Bank of Uganda shows a significant increase in digital payment transactions, with a notable rise in debit card payments.
